Out of all of the multi-axis machines to use for manufacturing, a lathe is one of my favorites, if not my absolute personal favorite. While I find standard 3-axis milling machines to be the technically more versatile machine in a side-by-side comparison of standard shop machines,  lathes are amazingly versatile and adaptable machines, possible of making all sorts of parts in spite of generally only having 2 axes. 

I'm currently working on funding a small lathe as well as carving out a space for the lathe. By mid-to-end-of 2024, I am looking to offer manual lathe work as a service!
